Saturday 30th April - Mottram Mud Run

17 runners out this morning for a lovely run from Prestbury along the river & across the golf course to Mottram & back across the fields.  It was a morning of mud, bluebells & baby lambs.  Thankfully we made it back before the rain/hail/thunder & there were no lost shoes today!  Taking into account some lovely looping, a couple of hill reps (by popular demand!) and an extension activity involving speed intervals the faster members managed to clock up 5 miles this morning.  Well run everyone (especially those of you who made it out to run despite last night's .....eerm 'overindulgence'!

Saturday 9th April - Kerridge Loop

This morning, E Group met to run a route around Kerridge and Bollington.

The route started from the small car park opposite Hollins Hall and headed straight up White Nancy, along the ridge and down towards Rainow. The group then ran up Ledgits Lane taking in some stunning views. We enjoyed a lovely opportunity to run down Neil's hill and back down the canal.

This was an extended run for E and clocked at around 5.5 miles.

Saturday 2nd April - Running with Ben Smith (401 Challenge) - Tatton Park

This week, we went over to Tatton Park to run with Ben Smith as part of his 401 Challenge.

It was a fab morning, some chose a shorter loop of 7km, some did 11.5km & some did 15km. Absolute brilliant running, in awful weather. Still an amazing opportunity to show our Macc Harrier support in the way that only we can (in tutus!)!!
