Saturday 27th August - Tittesworth Reservoir

This week, a select number of E Group (with it being Bank Holiday weekend and all) met to run the Tittesworth Reservoir route. This is a lovely 4-4.5 mile route around the reservoir with some added undulations for good measure.

The route also provides an opportunity to vary your speed and complete speed work if desired. 

Coffee and breakfast was enjoyed after the run.

Saturday 20th August - Hollins Hobble

This week. a large E Group ran the Hollins Hobble lead by Dave and supported by Damien and Lindsey.

The route is always popular, leaving Sutton Garden Centre and heading down the canal into Macclesfield. After leaving the canal, the route takes a turn up Windmill Lane and up towards the Golf Course. The group then enjoyed beautiful views across Macclesfield, Sutton, Langley and out towards Staffordshire before heading back down through Langley and Sutton back to the cars.

Coffee and breakfast was enjoyed by many at the Garden Centre.

Saturday 13th August - Bolly and Beyond!

This week, 14 E Group met at the Skate Park in Bollington to run a popular route around Bollington. The route headed down the Middlewood Way to Stypersons Pool, up and around the top of Bollington before heading back down towards the village and then out towards Savio House, before dropping back along the back streets of Bolly and back to the Skate Park.

The route has lots of undulations, but always proves popular because of the views and exploring of the hidden back roads and paths of Bollington.

Coffee was enjoyed by those who could stay at the Waterside Cafe.

Saturday 6th August - Fallibroome Frollic

This week, 13 E Group met at the Leisure Centre to run one of Dave's special runs, the Fallibroome Frolic...with a guest star appearance from Farmer Gorton.

The route is always popular as it takes in views and paths surrounding Fallibroome, Whirley and Birtles.
